As much as the clamps are for cosmetics, this was the 1st time I ever had to do a fast speaker switch and it did shave a couple minutes off, maybe. Nah, they're for looks:)

Naw, they ARE faster, you just gott blow more speakers!
(I saw the Dead guys switch one out one time in about 45 seconds! lol)

I always admired their "pit crew" like performance on a busted string or something like this. (Oh and the FULL pack of "Pall Malls" Jerry always had on his amp)

BTW, I cut little slices of leather and glued them on mine for 100% authentic.

You don't have to worry about pushing the t-nuts into your cabinet with clamps. Then again with open back you just flip it over and get the T-nut and push it back in. I'm going to mooch Stu's rig off him for a gig some day:)

Wow. Stu's vocals sound just like an '87 or '88 Jerry. Nice guitar too. Much better tone from the Wolf copy than the SG.

SGs are good for the '68-'69 tone though...

Exactly! he has come a long way in a very short period of time. this tone is damn near spot on! not bad for some old junky analog gear.
