How to link to a thread?

So, I wanted to share the "SHow of Hands" thread with my bandmates, as this is an issue for us at the moment... and with the hotlinks in the left window, I can't seem to link to anything other than the main RUK page... am I missing something?

Until I get rid of the frames, the simplest way to do this is by typing:

http://www.rukind.com/forum/

into your address bar (don't click on the link)

then you can easily get the links to the thread. but here's the link you are looking for:

viewtopic.php?f=311&t=8167

my current tasks are to first finish a chord dictionary for guitar tab creator, then finish up my conversion to a drupal site for all of rukind except the forum, which will remain as it is.

I swear that the code used in our index page is some of the oldest continuing running code on the internets, i mean, who else is using frames?

My way of doing it is to right-click on the thread title and either hit "copy link location" or "open in new tab" depending on what browser I'm using. Then you can either paste it into the thread directly or copy it from the address bar above and paste it.
