2X12 cab orientation question

For this cab, if you were to orient it horizontally (rather than vertically, as shown)



would you have the opening up or down and why? (Not a hypothetical, one of these is one the way to me now and I'm planning to use it both vertically and horizontally, depending on the head and venue.)
