Hey Now,
Some one gave me this amp the other day....I haven't found much info about it....it buzzes when I turned it on....someone told me it is from the 60's...cosmetically it looks great...I am taking it to the shop next week to get checked out...
Do any of you have or had any experience with this amp
"Heath Solid State Amplifier" 2X12 with reverb and tremelo Model TA 16

thanks for any input

Was this a "Heath Kit"? They were a big mail order company that sold kits that you could build yourself, for all kinds of electronics. Back when "solid state" seemed futuristic. I used to get their catalogs as a boy, and enjoyed all of the cool stuff in them.
Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there...

Indeed it is most likely Heathkit TA-16. You can find the schematic here:
http://www.vintage-radio.info/heathkit/

Lots of reviews, mostly favorable, at:
http://reviews.harmony-central.com/revi ... TA-16/10/1

And a fairly cool fan site here:
