Not sure what you're asking. Yes, the third fret on the high E string is a G note. I'm no musical theory guru, but one note changes the chord.

was at this show...I think this is the show that Dylan did Mr tambourine man much to the shock of the rest of the band (was never rehearsed or on the tour play list) .....


also, maybe it is the shadow and camera angle, but during jerrys solo look at the 2 humbuckers, they dont look like super 2's!

Going back, what I posted was:

Usually, when I play that voicing of a minor chord I also include the high E string. For an Em, it would be:

E|---------------

...So I think the idea of the high E being open was your own idea. Having said that, it certainly wouldn't be in any way wrong to have that high E played open.
