half step solo tab request

Postby raised by dead heads » Mon Nov 24, 2008 11:24 pm

this is my first post to this site and i just wanna say rukind.org is outstanding. i am very appreciative of anyone who has contributed to this site.

i was wondering if anyone had the tab to the solo towards the end of the song right where it switches to A D chords. In most of the versions of this song the lyrics 'across the rio grandeeo' kick in but i was looking for the solo that starts off this part of the song. the two performances that i have that feature this immediate solo are from without a net disc one and a version that ratdog performed march 9 2007. the solos are a little different in each but are excellent (especially the ratdog one minus the one singer not bobby screwing up the lyrics for half the song). if anyone could help me out that would be awesome, thanks.

DISCLAIMER: NO guitar in hand, i play these 12 frets up usually but lower end works too. you need to figure out the timing and kind of go with it. the first 2 are quick repetitive riffs used throughout. if you play around with the 3rd one a little here and there youll here jerry play that in the opening of the solo alot 4th one is just kinda whatever. im not good with the tabber thing so i did my best. the 3rd and 4th line are supposed to sound near identical but one you slide and the other you bend. good luck
