Why not start a [insert non-Irwin/Lieber guitar of choice] thread and leave this one to its topic?

Sorry tigerstrat, didn't mean to veer your precious thread off course. Next time I'll think before I post.

Most of us know what happened to the ones Jerry played/owned, but what about the ones we DON'T know about? How many others were built and never seen?

Cool thread. I was busy this summer and missed out on this the first time around. Thanks for the bump. I don't know much about the guitars, so it's cool reading about it. I do know that Carolyn (MG) has some of Jerry's old guitars since a friend of mine "hid" them when Jer passed--she was worried about folks breaking in and grabbing them--but I don't know what she's got.

In the event that Deborah registers as an rukind user, will she forever be stuck with the DKG icon?

First a pic of a custom “Garcia” bass built or Phil Samm. Both Phil Samm and Phil Lesh’s instruments preceded Jerry receiving his. Second is a pic of the Lesh quad bass. Filers installed only on the left side, right side awaiting installation
