67 Dual Showman

I saw this ad in Craigslist: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/msg/708761671.html
This ad has been running for over a week, and today he mention's that it once belonged to the Dead. The story doesn't jive from what I've read in a few books, but you never know....

I doubt that is legit.

In Phil's book he does mention "liberating" some gear around that time and then returning it back after a short stretch on the road.

A showman is a great amp and the price isn't too badly inflated. But it is inflated, IMO.

Didn't they play a free show on the Haight after Monteray, and then I think they returned equipment to Warner Brothers or someone.

I thought all the fender stuff was returned with a clever note or something. :?: :?:
