That look a bit odd to anyone else, the Mutron III placed at the end of the chain?

At first it did for me too. Then I wondered how the guy was using it. Solo, it's fine, layered would depend on the effect and desired sound.

Personally, I don't follow the filter first rule. To my ears envelopes go first, okay, but Phasers go last.
