hey im pretty new to guitar and have a hard time figuring out the strumming pattern, can anyone help me out, i have the muting technique down alright

i strum this one differntly each time....i also strum different ways more than once through outh the song so dont get to hung up on it...

if your just playing by yourself try to embody the whole feel of the tune ya know...kinda just strum the grove...

if youve got another guitar playing with you just do a simple like folkey bluegrass-y up and down rhythm if u have some one else doing that already do some cool rhytms with the palm muting you mentioned to spice up the rhythm try adding some of the licks in there too...
