WRS Prelude

Has anyone here gone through this? I think the tab on rukind might be partially incorrect/incomplete. I haven't gone through it wnough to propose an alternate version, but playing along with some live '73-'74 versions it seems like it's spot on through this part

E------7--------5-------------------------------------------
B------7h8p7-------7---5---3---5---7---3--------------------
G------------9--5-------------------------------------------
D------------------7---5---4---5---7---4--------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------
E-(7)-------------------------------------------------------

E--------------------
B--------------------
G------5--4--5--7--7-
D---7--------------9-
A------7--5--7--9----
E------------------7-

but the rest of this line doesn't work.

As far as I can tell the C - G - Am section and following parts are right. I'll post more when if I can figure out what I think I'm hearing, but was just wondering if anyone else has come across this.

Thanks

I can't "warranty" it against live versions, the tab is based on the Wake Of The Flood version.

Do you believe it to be incorrect against that?

Can't say for 100% sure, but I think the live versions are the same as the album version. I need to go through it some more however...

OK, after going through this more carefully (on the album this time), I'll propose a very small change - here's the tab with the chord names included for reference

------------------"phrase 1"

--------Em-----Am--D---C---Bm--C---D---Bm

E------7--------5-------------------------------------------
B------7h8p7-------7---5---3---5---7---3--------------------
G------------9--5-------------------------------------------
D------------------7---5---4---5---7---4--------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------
E-(7)-------------------------------------------------------

--------"phrase 2"-------"phrase 3"
-------Am-G-Am-Bm--G------B--A--B-----Em

E-------------------------------------------7--7--7-----7---
B-------------------------------------------8--8--8-----8---
G------5--4--5--7--7------8--6--8------9----9--9--9-----9--
D---7--------------9-------------------9--------------------
A------7--5--7--9------7--10-8--10-----7--7-----------7-----
E------------------7---------------7------------------------

The only correction I'll propose is the vocing of the B-A-B part in the 3rd phrase. I don't think it's exactly right (I think I hear Bob hammering on somewhere) but I'm pretty sure I hear that D# on the 4th string/8th fret.

I think it's also an acceptable variation to voice the 2nd G in the 2nd phrase as x-x-4-x-5-x instead of x-x-7-9-x-7 but I'm not saying it's incorrect as previously written.

It was also a revelation to me that after I took the two minutes to identify all the chords used, it was much easier to finger the phrase 2 and 3 using the full barre chord fingerings. (phrase 1 was a little awkward for me that way).

Comments?

[edit: sorry about all the dashes - it was the only way I could align the chord names with the rest of the tab]
