you mean $75k. Ah, no offense, but pass! Good luck to whomever needs to ditch this rig that they obviously put a ton of time and dough into.

That is pretty funny ! Why is he asking 5 times the value ? I suppose if you just got a last minute gig next weekend at giants stadium and you own zero gear. This is a must buy . I gotta get that tuner though ! That must be the key to sounding exactly like jerry ..

Looks like a good business opportunity, unless the three bidders who have already bid it up to $27k are shill bidders. I see maybe $12k in gear there and half of it is the guitar -- and that's being generous. Unless they are mis-reading "used by Jerry Garcia" as actually USED by Jerry Garcia. And the reserve is not met?

Seriously. A Quadraverb? Maybe if there was a PCM 80 it might be worth a little more, but even to get all the woodworking together, no way that it would be $27k.

I think that's the key issue here. With the bids up to where they are already, there's only three possibilities IMHO:

1. It's all shill bidding.
2. The bidders didn't read the description carefully and are under the erroneous impression that this equipment (other than the guitar) was actually played BY Jerry.
3. The bidders have no friggin' clue what they're bidding on.

The more I look at it I realize my rig is most definitely worth more than this one new. Anyone who has bid in this . Please contact me ... Ill do it for 74,999!! I'm assuming his buddies are helping him get the bids up. That maple on the wolf is nice but I hate the way those pickup plates look. Not just morriaty but most wolfs in general. This one looks like you could slice your wrist open on it . Maybe just a strange camera angle ?

But wait a minute, ITS IS JERRY's STAGE RIG Right? How many of those do you expect to see on Ebay?
Its not any Mac 2300, IT IS FREAKING JERRY's MAC 2300 with the Bud man sticker on it.

It is not just equipment, it is Jerry's equipment. I would say that that gear is worth alot to a wealthy collector.
Do not forget that Wolf sold for like 800,000 and Tiger sold for almost 1,000,000.

It is Jerry's on stage rig!
