I had the microQ for a while. It was a quality built unit and pretty cool. Unfortunately I did not have ac pack to power it and ran it on the 9 volt. As the charge in the battery went down I noticed the tone would change drastically, more distortion. It was a good sounding distortion, but I became quite frustrated with trying to find the sweet spot settings and keeping it there and ended up pawning it for a fraction of what I paid for it. I've always wanted to try the larger model.i had traded up to the micro Q from a DoD envelope filter that I was also never quite happy with. I had played a Used boss once that I wish I would have bought. It had 4 knobs and really seemed to respond well to different playing dynamics,ie.softer-harder.
