A little bluegrass for your listenting pleasure

Postby tcsned » Wed Apr 03, 2013 6:30 am

Here's a clip I shot of our opening act from our New Year's Eve gig at the Pine Tavern in Floyd VA. The song is Alabama Jubilee performed by my buddy Winfield National Flatpicking Champion Scott Fore and our bassist, Steve "Slash" Hunt. Unfortunately, Scott had his back turned to the camera. He's a great player, we did a gypsy jazz gig together for a few years. Enjoy!

Very nice! Scott is quite the picker.

Yeah, he's got some serious chops. He's fun to play with and is also one helluva repairman. He's gonna do a fretjob on my Taylor soon. That's an awesome Bourgeoise guitar he's playing too.

Too bad he wasn't facing the camera so we could see the finger work, like you said, but good stuff!
