Skydog: The Duane Allman Retrospective is set for release on Friday, March 12 . This seven-CD, 129-song retrospective presents Duane Allman in variety of contexts. The set will not only offer music from the Allman Brothers Band and its antecedents but also present Allman in the studio and on stage with Derek & the Dominos, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, King Curtis, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, Ronnie Hawkins, Otis Rush, Johnny Jenkins, John Hammond, Herbie Mann and many others. Skydog was produced by Allman’s daughter Galadrielle and Bill Levenson. Scott Schinder drafted the liner notes, complemented by additional notes by Galadrielle.
