JGB Capitol Th. 3/17/78 late VIDEO!

Postby tigerstrat » Tue Feb 05, 2013 7:20 pm

You thought the earliest video of JGB in existence was the Capitol 3/1/80 show? Then ENJOY: http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/jerry-garcia-band/concerts/capitol-theatre-march-17-1978-late-show.html

Everything is great; Rhapsody In Red is off the hook!

Watch "I'll Be With Thee" and tell me why the heck Donna couldn't harmonize like that with the Dead?

Exactly what I was thinking! So sad how much he deteriorated over those last couple years. It's surprising that his condition doesn't effect the band more than it does. Jerry and John clearly give some unhappy looks towards Keith while he's nodding off or mindlessly stabbing at the same keys over and over, but they both are still really bringing it.
