Skyfoot

Place for the rest of the music

Skyfoot

I've been introduced to a new band this weekend. They're called Skyfoot and hail from Boston. Their CD is called Eternal Bend...you'll be able to find them online easily. I've got no affiliation with this band.(I'll be pushing my CD here in al little while)
The leader of this band grew up in the town I live in. He was a child prodigy then and we all knew he was going places back then. It's just so cool that the music he's making now is so pleasing to an old Dead Head like me. They opened their show the other night with The Music Never Stopped...a nice version but it's their original stuff that I really dig. Buy the CD ...it's $10.00...I'm betting you find a few tunes that make it into the rotation on your iPod.

Just trying to bump this one. 37 views no replys...assuming that means no one has purchased the CD. I realize it's $10 on an unknown...and who the hell am I to tell you it's good. It's just cool to see how appreciative these young kids are when you purchase one of their CDs. I also realize that this is not Dead music and thats what this forum is about but I like to think that we are about good music...of any kind. Sooty...I had to take one more shot...I'll drop it now.

Definitely a Pink Floyd feel to this one. Just love the whole second half of this tune. Thanks TJ for posting the vid.

My band played a show with these guys over the summer and I'm friendly with Matt the guitarist. He also plays bass in a Dead band around MA. Great keyboad player in Skyfoot as well.

Eric (keyboard) is the prodigy I mentioned earlier. A real talent...and Matt's playing really blew me away. Still really digging their album
