It looks like a knockoff of a Fender Starcaster headstock. Either custom made or some Japanese lawsuit era thing.

Looks more like the Micro-Frets Caliber model (no F-hole), but I haven't seen one with that body binding.

Wow, much larger image at the movie site, thanks Waldo. I retract my above post ... to make matters worse, the guitar in the pic I linked isn't even a Calibre either.

With those double-dot fret markers, it looks much closer to the Spacetone model, but still curiously with no f-hole. You read that right folks: Jerry playing a Spacetone.
