I've always taken this thread to be referring to songs he wrote... otherwise i'm gonna have to have J. Zawinul's "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" on my list.

That isn't a Bob Weir song. Words by Robert Petersen, music by Phil Lesh

Ok. If you don't think New Potato "counts" then I replace it with Lost Sailor/Saint of Circumstance (It's one song in my book).

Can I list "Fever" in my top 10?
I saw Bobby do that one and it is a good one for him.

Fever!...

Lost sailor and Let it grow are awesome songs. So is Picaso Moon once you start trying to learn how to play it. I really get a glimpse of Bobby's musical genious when trying to understand what and why he is doing certain things musically.

I'm going to go with just songs Bob wrote or had a big hand in writing. I do think his covers of Masterpiece, Uncle, Samson, Minglewood, El Paso, Bobby McGee, Easy to Slip- are all excellent.
Bob Songs: (in order)
WRS
Cassidy
Jack Straw
Sugar Mag
Playin in the Band
Black Throated Wind
