Simpel DC Filiment supply for Crate BV-60

I apologize I should put this in context for clarity, this amp came in with no filament voltage, the fuse protecting the circuit was blown. It could have gone at that but for the strange color of the filament feed connections next to the fuse. It was a long drawn out burn due to crimping to attach the connectors. it then turned out that the current draw of the filament chain was at and exceeding the filament fuse rating. This fuse value had been raised as part of the service update and it still wasn’t enough. The new dc filament PS to V1 was taken before the fuse to lessen the current draw and solve that. the dc supply itself was also intended to clean up the first stage of the preamp which was apparently noisy. I also replaced the filament connections and soldered the crimps for a better connection.

This supply was part of a service update for V1. this amp also needed serious help in the auto-bias section And several other service updates. the amp is still working strong its been months the owner happy.
