Looking for "Bear Clips" aluminum speaker clips

I am in need of 8 clamps and so far no luck. Tried Tracy at SSP and they dont know when they will get more in. Want to ask my fellow heads if anyone has some they are not using and can sell me for a very reasonable price.

I just received eight clips from the eBay source above. They look good, but be aware that these clips are built for E120s and other speakers with a high flange/mounting ring. The mounting ring on "regular" speakers is about 1/4" too low and the clip will hang in mid-air. You could always use a shim of course.

I have K120 speakers that I am looking to put in a cab. Has anyone tried these clips for Ks? Will they fit? Anyone have problems with them?

I have one right here, from the same source, and I can report that the minimum height of flange/gasket you need is 12 mm. Optimum height looks like it would be 14mm or so (to allow space for the lever action). They don't fit any of my current non-JBL speakers (flange/gasket is too low). JBLs must have a higher flange, which I admit I didn't know when I bought 'em.

I bought from this guy also and found out, after they arrived that they wouldn't work for my speakers (Tone Tubby's). I'm not raggin' on the guy (sorry, I can't remember his name right now) the clips are machined very nicely, no hard edges, all uniform, and quality bolts and "T" nuts. What I came up with was to cut two 1/2" wide circles out of 1/4" plywood (think 2 very big, very flimsy washers) sprayed 'em black and mounted 'em between the cab baffel and the speaker. They work great and you need a flashlight and glasses to see 'em. That said, it is a bit of a PIA and maybe if you're gonna sell clips you could offer "JBL" or "other".

Hey guys, I noticed the comments on the fit of my speaker clips. Just wanted to let you know that I can make anything you want but it would be impractical for me to try and supply 'off the shelf' clamps of this sort for every speaker flange/gasket height out there. You might notice that at Waldo's site where I got the official drawing for these to fit the JBL E120 it does say that a piece of leather or some other filler is to be used between the clamping surface and the speaker and it's designed for 1/2" height with no filler according to the drawing. I went out and measured my reconed E120 and it's 5/8". Really high. So maybe there's some variation out there. For esthetic reasons I'd say as close to parallel with the speaker cab baffle would be best. In any event, If you can measure it, I can make it. Don't feel bound to buy off the ebay shelf as it were, just send me a message and I can either make or modify and send them out.
