Pretty funny, though Phish only had one drummer :)

They've also been touring pretty hardcore since 1992, and today's ticket prices dwarf the prices you paid back in the 70's and 80's. Phish seems to have managed their money a little better than the GD did as well.

Phish was playing to comparable crowds about a year before Garcia checked out.

What's strange (but not surprising) is how many of these drummers are pretty average, talent-wise, and how many mind-blowingly good ones are nowhere on this list, and probably not even within shouting distance. Where are Bill Bruford, Jeff Sipe, Chad Wackerman, Peter Erskine, or (jeebus!) Billy Cobham, Jimmy Cobb (fer cryin out loud!) ... where the hell is Pete Best, dammit?!?

Playing jaw-dropping music in crappy little venues to half-full houses with mostly musicians themselves in attendance. :x

Most of their revenue probably comes from songwriting, rather than from ticket sales.
