Unless a person is having serious financial problems, I can't understand why one would buy such an awesome guitar and sell it 4 yrs later. Unless this person is very well off and bought it on a whim? I just don't get it :?

Hmmm.... Looks like an earlier Phiga (T2?)- white phenolic not brass for the body edging. I think Phil would build you a new one for less than what he's asking.

4.5 now, I'm pretty sure it was about 1k less than that back when he was making the T2.
