you can do very well with a pro, a super, or a twin reverb. As stated above, they may be more beneficial in a head unit with an external cab. I found both a twin and super chassis used recently for around $300. Mojotone makes a head cab for $208 shipped... and on occasion you can find them on the bay for about 100 bucks.
All of the late 60's fenders at 40 watts and above are fundamentally the same a b763 circuit. And the silverface circuits, by and large, an easily be converted to that - if that's what you want. The difference will be the transformers... with a twin (even at half power - using only two power tubes) by far the cleanest... then the super, pro, bandmaster, vibrolux, etc. The outlier being the bassman which is pretty different from the rest.
I do have a twin in a combo cab, but have super light jbl's (D123) in it so it's not terribly heavy. The ONLY reason I have both speakers in that combo is because they are 15-20 watt and I don't want to blow them. (but I rarely turn the amp up past 4.)
Be careful getting caught up in exactly duplicating the jerry configuration. You're not likely to play stadiums, so a 200 watt power amp with 3 jbl's is most likely overkill. I've not recently played through that sort of rig so others should weigh in here. I'm also not convinced that my rig needs to "look like jerry' for me to play jerry or dead songs, but I digress.
