JBL K120 Reconed To 2204H?

Hey,

There's a pair of JBL K120s on Craigslist here in Portland that have been reconed to 2204Hs. Not sure what the recon does with the K120 magnets, etc? Are these totally different than the K120s? Seems like a great deal.

I'd be careful. The cone doesn't look like a 120K cone- it has a lot of ridges. The dust cap looks like paper, not aluminium- unless it's been painted. JBL says the 2204h is a low-frequency driver- more for bass. May not be what you're looking for?
