Electronics done and actually work! I'll shoot some "beauty shots" later, but here are the electrical photos. Three coats of shielding paint, copper foil in buffer cavity. I fabricated a bracket for the Waldo buffer out of some aluminium edge trim from Lowes. I set up all the controls on a cardboard jig and did most of the soldering on that before finishing up in the cavity- much easier to get at.
I plugged it in and was astounded to find that everything worked! No hum whatsoever. I'm still a little unsure of the lefty aspects of pots. You can buy some basic 250 and 500 pots as lefty, but unless you can get all three (four) needed for this application, some pots would work reverse of others, so I wired it standard. I'm used to it after years of buying "lefty" guitars on which the controls don't work "just exactly right". I will admit that it is one of my better soldering jobs.

I have a little basic set-up work to do, but getting the electronics wired right and working has been on my mind for over a year, so over a big hump today.
