I'd say it means they're built in mexico, China or Korea.

Built on a boat in international waters?

Seriously, though it is cool to have a affordable (if you can call 3000-4000 affordable?!) actually let me say instead, less expensive alternative, and Im sure Thomas Lieber would not put himself behind a piece of junk no matter where it is made....

Myself, I have twice in the past and would likely again in the future be more likely to engage a domestic luthier than buy a $3K+ import. But Messrs. Lieber and Irwin, have you given any consideration to augmenting your small product line with a student/economy-level J-caster - the equivalent of say a PRS SE or import Reverend guitar - priced at around a grand for beginning and/or financially-challenged Deadheads? That's where I see a true price/performance point gap waiting to be filled.

Very cool! Do you have any pictures of finished guitars that we can see?

Also, will it have the full tiger electronics and OBEL - and if so, what options of buffers are being offered?

I wanna see some pictures and specs and stuff!!

Sounds cool though I kind of have a made in the USA thing going on with my gear these days that I am sort of proud of...I would certainly consider something those guys were involved with even if it was made in the far east or Central America.

That's strange. So Tom checked in, took info out of his post, and didn't answer any questions? Curiouser and curiouser....

sorry about the mix up, I responded several days ago to questions and it must have deleted everything?

There will be a short limited run of Irwin's produced by our Korean manufacturing partner. The Wolf and Tiger will be the same as Jerry's. ( NO midi) Cost estimates are $3100 wolf and $3800 tiger.

We expect the first shipment to arrive late spring.
