Best Dark Star

Postby bodiddley » Tue Oct 16, 2007 4:56 am

There was a Dark Star from 9-24-72 featured in the Taper's Section a few weeks back that I thought was really good. After about 15 minutes in I was ready to abort thinking "This is good but nothing I haven't heard before", when they started a most unusual and cool sounding jam that proceeded to build into one of their infamous apocolyptic meltdowns. Golden Yummies!

gotta love the meltdowns, but i get disappointed when they dont build it back up. i love the rockin the reign dark star, the me and my uncle is actually enjoyable in the context, it's like a vision from inside a hurricane :D

That is a good starting point if you want to find shows by date. Select your year and voila. So much stuff on there, I'm always listening to shows I never heard before. Or maybe I just don't remember putting them on at some point. Either way, so much selection and everything from the beginnings down to the end and beyond.

Have fun!

I question Bob's judgement on that one. It sounds like Jer is just finally getting going when Booby starts the intro to El Crappo for about the third time apparently not gettin the hint. Never the less, they pull off a pretty good version and it all works out well. I really dig the NFA>GDTRB>NFA from that show.
