Ceramic nut and saddles for clarity and sustain?

I am 100% brass for my nuts (I know - ha,ha) and brass saddles for my bridge. I was thinking what if it was all ceramic? It would have longer sustain, crisper highs, and possibly brighter tone. Anyone heard of someone using ceramic? Heck, you could probably have ceramic topped saddles and get the same effect. Just wonderin'...
