Tiger Shielding

It looks from the photos on Waldo's Tiger page (some of them new?) that there was copper foil under the Tiger for the buffer and grey shielding paint in the control cavity. Anyone know what was in the swimming pool under the pickups?

early guitars like Wolf and the Travis Beans have silver shielding paint in the control and pickup cavities. Tiger has copper shielding paint in the control and pickup cavities and it dries black.
