JBL K120 Reconed To 2204H?

Postby thetumblerspdx » Tue Feb 28, 2012 12:00 pm

There's a pair of JBL K120s on Craigslist here in Portland that have been reconed to 2204Hs. Not sure what the recon does with the K120 magnets, etc? Are these totally different than the K120s? Seems like a great deal.

Here's the Ebay listing:

Only asking 280/obo on local craigslist.

Thanks for your help! Almost done with my speaker search!

I'd be careful. The cone doesn't look like a 120K cone- it has a lot of ridges. The dust cap looks like paper, not aluminium- unless it's been painted. JBL says the 2204h is a low-frequency driver- more for bass. May not be what you're looking for?

You might ask or search on the Lansing heritage discussion forum.
