Quantums are 35" normally. I believe Phil's current custom TBX through-body is actually 34", standard Fender scale.

I'm really digging my 30.5" scale bass lately. It's a little weird to play but it sounds so right for the 60's/70's stuff.

I LOVE short scale's! My Hofner copy ftw! They sound so playful.
