I just got back from NAMM. Ibanez is doing a NEW Reissue of the Bob Weir Cowboy BWM1BS. It lists for $10,666.65. I spoke with a product specialist at Hoshino from Japan who said that it's identical to the 2005 reissue except for the pickups, which are now DiMarzio Virtual PAF's and a DiMarzio Area 61 in the middle. Also, and this is surprising---it's being released as a regularly stocked item as opposed to a limited-production guitar.
Here's a shitty photo of how it was displayed at NAMM:
Wow... 10K for a factory job... I'm going to have to double my prices "o) This is a custom Cowboy inspired ax just getting started for Joe. Neck thru, flame maple core, flame walnut top and back, Io custom bridge, top loader... Onboard Delay, Chorus, and Envelope Filter as per Joe's desire!

Thanks for the kind words I didn't mean to hijack this thread, bad choice on my part... so I'll open another in the Bobby section for this build. It's my first Bobby build, and as you can see, crazy electronics and layout tasks "o) Here's the link viewtopic.php?f=420&t=17815
