Ibanez MC500 mod question

Has anyone had any expirience adapting one of Mike Wald's TCP1 to an Ibanez MC500?

I have an MC500 as well and a Waldo Buffer but have yet to add it. I find that the Ibanez preamp does the trick. I do not run OBEL on this guitar and have been told not to modify if I ever intend to sell. So....I have been looking for a lower model IB for mods. 2 cents.

Tenn, Your guitar looks beautiful! great work. I do plan on keeping the electronics as original as possible. It may be hard to do if I'm adding the preamp buffer. I know nothing about this super 88 p/u. I'm more of a super II person. Thanks for the guitar shots.

keep me posted on what you find out while attempting the TCP1 install. I'm not planning on adapting an OBEL and still need to see how these P/Us and original preamp sounds. I've been in touch with Mike who did not have a definate solution to our quest. He would need to see a schematic of which I am searching...
