Here's a quick one after a few minutes of play. I love it, clear, clean and I hope the clip shows the pick attack sensitivity.

Sounds exactly like my General Guitar Gadgets EF440 that I modded for mellower transients. Which is great! They both sound great. Not as full as the original mutton III, but in the right ballpark.
All's well that sounds well.

Thanks. These are clock settings. Peak and Gain = 10:00. Level = set so that mu is same volume as clean using OBEL. For me, that's about 3:00.

I have the QTron (with Waldo mod) and think I like that a bit better than the micro, but do need to spend more time trying to dial it in. Thanks for sharing your settings.

Jumper in stock position?

The jumper was in the stock position for that Shakedown clip, but I have subsequently moved the jumper from pins 1,2 to 2,3 to get a bit of clipping.

Any chance you can elaborate on what that change is? I'm assuming it's some type of mod to the Micro-Tron...

Thank you!! I wonder why it comes like that, or why that simple mod isn't mentioned in the manual that comes with the Micro-tron...

Good question. Who knows? The Tru-tron had two or three revisions to it's manual, so maybe moving the jumper will be in another Micro-tron manual?

Has anyone tried adjusting the internal trim pot in the MIcro3? I haven't been able to dial it into that sweet spot as of yet...it just sounds a bit tight/trebly or something compared to even my Qtron. I have tried moving the jumper from the stock to the MU position and I like it a bit better I think, but it still feels like somethings missing. Just wondering if anyone has tried messing with that internal dial yet...
