Can anyone recommend a guitar tech in the New Haven/Fairfield/Shoreline area that is fluent with buffer/OBEL equipped guitars?

Brian's Guitars in Hamden is (or at least was) an Alembic dealer. Maybe they can point you in the right direction if they don't have a guy on site.

By the way, DNG did the EQ installation in Rob Eaton's Ibanez 2681 guitar.

Keep us posted on how that goes, I am in the area and was considering having him do so work for me.

I am the lead guitarist for Terrapin here in Fairfield County, Dan has been my guitar wizard since the beginning. He is awesome, does incredible work and is very fair and knows and understands the Dead sound implicitly. He has outfitted my strat with an OBEL, replaced all the pickups and is now in the finishing stages of a full wolf build. I have been playing one of his custom DGN paragons with full OBEL and pre amp for a year now. Incredible axe. Highly recommended.
