Fender Twin on its side.

does anyone know if Jerry put his amps vertical as is or where they modified to sit on its side? before i put my twin head on its side i want to make sure i will not mess it up. Thanks

I don't believe Jerrys twin was modded specifically in this regard. I have had my twin standing upright now for several months without a single problem. I will mention this however: I keep my twin upright with the light on top, and the inputs toward the bottom --- If I stand it upright the other way (with the light on the bottom) I get humming from my reverb tank.

Go figure...

I like mine with the transformers on the bottom for more stability (heavy side down). It sounds the same any way I put it though.
