In preparation for my new band, Deadicated, I am super stoked to share my interpretation of Jerry through my Twin which now has the genius Wald Electronics Maestro Mod. Thank you Mike for all you do to help us achieve the Jerry tone. Here we go. Pretty frickin awesome Jerry tone:

Sounds killer! Are you using the PRS in the picture?

Thanks! Yup. That's the PRS.

Here's an even better clip of the PRS with the Maestro Mod after working out the correct gain structure (thanks Mike!!): https://soundcloud.com/mattman-366718336/mattman-maestro-11222016-prs

Here's a little Bit from over the holidays. Pretty happy with it, but sounds just a touch "plinky" to me.

Regarding the "plinky" tone. What power amp are you using?
All's well that sounds well.

Awesome! Playing and tone are both spot-on. The lows pop and the highs ring like a bell. I hear what you are saying about being "plinky" but to me it sounds like a Strat. Kind of the differences between a Strat tone and the Irwin guitars if that makes sense. It sounds fantastic to me. Love that song too!

Very nice playing and the whole band sounds great! Thanks for sharing! I think you would love a McIntosh power amp.

Thanks for the kind words fellas! I have a mc2100, but that thing is just too heavy to cart around. Is there a more portable variety???

Nice Russian Lullaby, and yeah, the MC2100 is a great power amp. Use it!

I think you will find its weight to be manageable if you put it in some sort of A/V equipment rack with handles and casters.

lol - they make an MC100 that is about half of the 2100. I lug mine around to gigs - I just make sure it never touches the floor. It rides in the front seat of my truck and straight to the top of my rig so I never ever have to lift it off the floor.

I too was using the Carvin DCM200L, and while it performs very admirably, it has that plink sound. I keep it as my backup amp. I bought a McIntosh MC50, and now have full, sweet highs, and no more plinky crap! It's more than enough amp, and will fill small to some medium sized rooms without micing.
All's well that sounds well.
