Did Jerry use the Mean and Scream channels or was his distortion external..ie Boss overdrive on top of the clean channel? Any ideas would be helpful.

the remote foot controller of the GT Trio was, iirc, stage left of him. can't see why the need for that if he did not use it.

My trio has a very nice clean channel. The mean and scream sound very much alike. A very overdriven almost overdistorted tone. I dont notice too much difference in the two channels. I know Jerry probably used the whole amp but I just cant tell when. I could probly throw this one in under the late Jerry tone.
