Watching Dead shows on you tube i ran across 8-18-89 and there seems to be a amp on top of the Mac.




Whut up with that ?

What fingering is Jerry using for the D & E chords during the verse on this cold rain and snow? I am going to try and figure it out, but I know a couple of our leading players already have. Also great shot of Jerry doing the intro to CR&S on this vid, sliding up to the D on the 5th string.

As its been said before, the more I practice, the better Jerry gets!

Waldo,

What was the reason for the temporary use of the crest? Mac or Crest it still sounds like jerry. :D

They're just A shaped bar chords, but he uses his pinky instead of ring finger.

Maybe there is some coincidental timing with the Crest amp and the move to more of the midi gear - seemed like that picked up a lot around that time.
