Just scored a old beat up Twin

I picked up what the the people believe is a 68'-69' non-master vol twin. Cab looks rough and had a EV12L (at least it looks to me, no label). She fires up and has a lil buzz and when u turn it up it seems the speaker rattles something in the amp. When i hook her up to a ext cab it doesn't make a rattle buzz sound. I will get some pics soon as its at our warehouse. Some thoughts on what to do with this.

Return it to stock form ?

Jerrify this bad bad boy (what would this do to the vintage value of it?)

Buy or make a "head" cab for it ( it weighs a ton and its missing a speaker ..ugh )

I was almost over the fence on a SMS till this guy came along...so now what ..lol Where would you Indiana/Chicago guys recommend getting this guy worked on?

I have a head cab you can have cheap if you wanna. It has served me well for a good while. You will have to use the handle and chassis screws and retention plates to assemble, but no biggie, when you are ready to sell it, take them off and put it back on the amp, or that's what did. The cool thing about the SMS is that it is in the rack safe, moving that thing around as a head is kinda cumbersome, kinda like moving my macintosh around. It is lighter without speakers big time.

Id buy that cab off Jonny, make myself a fender twin head and enjoy bringing it in and out of places easily
