Hello from Montana

Postby mtjam » Sun Apr 11, 2010 12:12 pm

Greetings rukinders, I've been lurking here for some time trying to take advantage of all the theory discussions and thought I should take the plunge. Just a hobbyist with an Ibanez M340 acoustic, a Fender Mexican made strat and a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Classic I bought a week after they were discontinued. No effects, pedals, cabs, just a Peavey 45 watt amp. Got semi serious 10 years ago about trying to actually play guitar though I've had my Ibanez for almost 30 years, just didn't pick it up that often. Saw the Dead only 3 times, 73 at Watkins Glen, 76 at Rochester and 77 at Buffalo. Thanks to all of you for contributing to this forum, can't beat detailed information and a steady supply of humor.

Montana is an amazing place, welcome!
It all rolls into one and nothing comes for free
There's nothing you can hold for very long
And when you hear that song come crying like the wind
It seems like all this life was just a dream

Thanks for the welcomes! Buddha, I think there's actually 1 or 2 people from Mt on this board already, Helena and Great Falls? There's also someone from Spokane, Wa that's closer to me than anyone else. Totally agree Mike, Montana is an amazing place and no traffic jams.
