Nashville checking in

Postby NashvilleMike » Fri Jan 16, 2009 10:41 am

After so many years I can't believe I haven't found this site yet. Happy to be here and ready to spend countless hours discussing the Dead and all related matters.
It all rolls into one and nothing comes for free
There's nothing you can hold for very long
And when you hear that song come crying like the wind
It seems like all this life was just a dream

Welcome, Music City!

You don't happen to have the Dead's missing mixing board do you? Stolen after the Nashville gig in 1972, for those unfamiliar ;^)

Mixing board?...What mixing board?...I think I saw Mickeys dad driving off with it after the show.

By the way if anyone in the middle Tennessee area wants to get together and play dead I am game. I have a 72 strat and love to play Dead tunes with other amatuers! I can handle Bob parts and am progressing nicely on the Jer material.
Not to mention that Nashville "music city" does not have a dead cover band. Maybe we can get there together?
