I've been using RUKIND for tabs for years but just joined the forum recently. Let's get on with it!!

I'm an oldie (over 50) that's been playing guitar for most of my life. I've currently got four:

Washburn D18CEWR 6-String
Aria 12-String with a Martin D12-28 face and Schaller tuners
1991 Gibson SG pretty much stock
1981 Epiphone Sheraton II w/gold Schaller tuners with ebony knobs, Seymore Duncan 59 pickups, all American pots, wires and switches, I had Larry Robinson (www.robinsoninlays.com) do Jerry's face inlaid between the end stop and the tail of the guitar using pure silver for his hair and beard and antique ivory for his face and gold for his shirt outline with pua shell circle around the portrait with three abalone/mother of pearl roses. All on a blonde maple natural finish. This also has a SYF inlaid above the pickups. It's real gaudy. If you want pictures, email me and I'll send copies along with a list of all the materials used.

I use a 1965 Fender Vibrolux Reverb amp

Boss tuner, moise reducer, EQ, distortion, flanger, chorus, t-wah and A-B spliter

And of course, all Monster cables.

I can play just about the entire catalogue of Dead and Jerry tunes and even sing them a bit like Jerry would. So that's about it. I hope everyone is having a grateful day or night!!!

Greetings! Used to live there myself. Well, Daly City actually, but to me SF's the best city in the world. Had to move back to my hometown, Richmond VA, a few years back, but would love to take my wife and son to see what it's all about out there. Really glad to have you aboard. Greetings from Arlington VA -- I grew up in San Francisco (the Mission) -- came out here in "98 -- been playin over 35 years -- seems like after some very sad news I only play GD tunes -- don't much care to play much else although I have a solid Jimi Hendrix background -- when I want the 70"s Jerry sound I usually use my SG even by itself unamplified it reminds me of that period -- playing a fantastic Stella Blue played between the Sugar Magnolia sunshine-daydeam break -- I get an adequate 80'-90's sound from a Carvin no name no serial number (?) model -- at least it has 24 frets for the "tinkling" riffs.
For Bobby's sound - I have an Ibanez that I can force an amp to give me a sound I can work with - but to play fast I still use a Strat or Tele (my hands work well with a Fender) - Not that many people to play music with here, guess many of us old timers are putting the guitars away -- not me, I will play as long as I can - this is my first post in several years since I could not remember my old login or password -- had to create a new one.....
