Hey!

I've been a rather casual fan of TGD for many years -- mostly their late 60's/early 70's studio albums.

But I think I'm missing out on something, and I'm particularly curious about the Dick's Picks series, since it seems to varied and deep.

Anyway this forum looks cool!

That's for sure. Not much room in the middle when it's been so often said you either love 'em or hate 'em.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah, I got into TGD first through Aoxomoxoa, being a fan of psychedelic music. Which turned out not to be all that representative of their career as a whole, but I worshipped it!

I know what you mean about there not being many casual fans of the band. I've always been at an odd sort of crossroads, I love the few albums I've heard a million times, but never got into the live stuff. (Which is kind of like saying, "I like this restaurant, except for the food" ...

Anyway, I'm open minded, and always looking for new stuff. Thanks for the links, DP Vol. 14 seems intriguing, maybe I'll get that one.
