I am currently out of picks, however, I will definately order some new ones. I've learned a couple things from the previous pick orders:

1> tortoise shell picks do not take any image well, so they are out.

2> the simpler the image the better.

3> if you mass produce them, you can't get each pick nicely centered.

4> full color is not cheap.

We worked with two companies, and I preferred working with Steve Clayton.

If we go with these picks:

http://www.steveclayton.com/delrin.html

the picks will be colored, but the image will be black.

If we go with these picks:

http://www.steveclayton.com/acetal.html

the picks will be white, but we can have a color image.

I'd prefer the white picks with color image, but black would be okay too. I use Clayton picks now and I really like them. Rounded triangle or standard size, 1.00mm - 1.26mm is my preference.

Can't wait to get some!

I'd prefer the latter

The only issue, I see, is copyright infringement. We don't want to co-op someone else's logo/image/etc. and "sell" picks. Obviously rukind.org makes almost nothing from the picks, but still, the principle is involved. You don't sell bootlegs shows and you don't take someone else's artwork, slap it on your pick and sell it. Just doesn't seem right in my book.

The black pick (with the skeleton hand holding a rose) is an original piece. The skeleton playing a guitar is an original piece. Either one can be put on a pick and sold, and kharma is good all around. The spirit is there, if not the original art. Does this make sense?

I like the white ones as well. I would go for any of the shapes... I like to use Dunlop Jazz I picks like Bob so if teardrops are available that would be cool. As long as they are .80 mm or heavier though.

Let us know when the time is ripe for pick orderin'.

Should I make this topic a poll for what pick you want to see?

I hope I didn't "Miss the bus" on this.

I'm in on whichever are made available.

I have my RUKIND t-shirt from Cafe Press, hopefully I will soon have my RUKIND picks.....

So the next question is.... Where do I get my RUKIND underoos.....
My wife thinks I have joined a cult... little does she know I have been in a "Cult" for the past gazillion years.....

GIMMEE SOME PICKS...please
PEACE,
Phil
