What is .shn??

Just downloaded some shows from bt.etree but their in .shn and i dont know how to play this or convert it. Please help.

You need a program called shorten to decode the shn file back to a wav file. Just do a search for shorten and you can dl it for free.

SHN is the lossless audio compression that is inferior to FLAC for the simple reason that I can't play it in the compressed format.

At the etree homepage, they have downloads for the software you need to uncompress SHN in Linux, Mac, or Wondows.

EDIT- turns out there is an xmms plugin. I don't use xmms, but I could if I saw a good show up for torrenting in... Hm...
