Jerry's got a cool signature.
They only other time I've seen all their signatures in one place was when I was having a tour of the Hult Centre in Eugene as part of an architectural class. The Dead were the first act to play there, back in 83 and I was lucky to have been at those shows . The Dead all signed their names on the side of the stage on the edge of the proscenium. Very cool sight on a field trip at school.
I was 18 at those shows, made my way all the way from Toronto and we arrived in Eugene on the way from Portland to Seattle on a whim to see if the box office had any returns and they did! There was about 8 of us and we bought the whole lot. I scored 3 tickets for each show.
The first night was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Standard set list but great playing. Here's a worthy clip, and with some incredible juicy Garcia tones. One of the all time best China Cats. Garcia was floating 2' off the floor of the stage.http://www.dead.net/features/tapers-sec ... er-29-2013
