Every Grateful Dead album made?

Postby php111 » Mon Oct 15, 2012 1:09 pm

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum! I also wasn't sure where to post my thread. Where could I possibly find a site that lists every possible album that the Grateful Dead made, and that particular site is always constantly updated even with the Spring 1990, and Dave's Picks 4 which I believe is the latest? Are there any such sites like that? Thank you!

Hey now!

First of all there are alot of GD albums. But who cares, they are just albums! For the most part the albums are not all that great. I would recommend American Beauty, Working mans Dead, and Europe 72 (live). Without a net is a good one. They have released many recently.

I recommend checking out the archive.org more there than you could ever listen to.
Not to mention the bit torrents. Do not try to get it all, just get some and enjoy.
Catch Furthur, and or DSO.

And then there are the bootleg albums, which proliferated, usually with Italian, French, German, or other obscure sources. And don't forget "Dead Man" Records. Quality varied from great to poor, but often were not of the show purported to be. It is probably nearly impossible to actually aquire a complete disc ography of the Dead, although if you stick to official releases, it should be fairly easy. I have quite a few records, including bootlegs, and would probably sell them if you want them. lmk

There's Hunter's Trix, too, don't forget those.
