Marshall JMP-1 anyone ever use one?

Hey folks! Have any of you ever used the Marshall JMP-1 preamp? I've been kind of itching to have a Marshall sound to play with but my old JCM-800 wasn't convenient to drag around to gigs. Now that I'm using the MC2100 and SMS preamp, adding a one space rack unit to the rig wouldn't be that inconvenient to drag around. I did a couple of theater pit gigs where I A/B'd the JCM and the Twin that was super cool (I got to leave it in place for two weeks) and I loved it. I was just wondering if they were any good. I used a JMP-1 trough a Mesa 2:50 for a few years and loved it. I sold it a while back and use the SMS pre now but you've got me thinking about tracking down another and going with a similar setup. There are guys out there who specialize in modding/upgrading the JMP-1 so that would be something to look into if you go with the dual pre setup.
